SINGAPORE – Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality has gained some popularity over the last couple of years with the likes of Pokemon Go and Oculus Rift taking the world by storm. Having said that, much of the potential of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are still unknown to most people.
Real Estate VR
Facebook’s Oculus Rift is a headset that allows users to be fully-immersed in a virtual environment. American real estate developers allow buyers to utilize the Oculus Rift VR Headset to visualize their future home that is still under construction (as seen in pic above). While American real estate giants have already incorporated the cutting-edge technology in their daily operations, the application is still unseen in Singapore’s real estate industry.
Highline Residences
However, a Singapore developer will be incorporating this technology starting this weekend.
Keppel Land, a renowned developer in Singapore, has imported the Real Estate VR technology from the United States and will be utilizing them in one of the hottest new condo launches.
Highline Residences is a 99 year leasehold development situated just a few minutes walk away from Tiong Bahru MRT. Highline Residences is a high-rise condominium 36-storey tall and residents of high-floors can enjoy a scenic view of the CBD area.
There will be $5,000 discounts for buyers who are looking to book a unit at Highline Residences this coming weekend, so hurry up!
Buyers and tech-enthusiasts may want to try out this new technology. Pretty sure we will see more local developers adopting new technologies to provide a brand new customer experience for buyers.
