The Real Estate Salesperson Course (or RES course) is a mandatory course for all aspiring real estate agents in Singapore.
After taking the compulsory lessons, candidates need to sit for and pass the RES examinations (Papers 1 and 2) before they could apply for a RES license and practise real estate in Singapore.
The RES exam is offered by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) only 3 times a year currently.
The RES course is offered by several CEA-approved course providers. As the exam is notoriously difficult to pass, it would be an excellent idea to find an RES course provider with a good track record of helping candidates pass.
Complete List of RES Course Providers in Singapore
Important Note: Only courses conducted by CEA Approved Course Providers (ACPs) will be recognized for licensing purposes.
Currently, there are only 8 such ACPs for the RES course. Since 2020, online classes are now available as an option, in addition to regular classroom-style training. Both are recognized by CEA as long as they are conducted by any of the 8 ACPs.
