Every time a new condo launches in Clementi, it buzzes.
Clementi is a hugely popular location for property in the west of Singapore, it seems.
The west of Singapore has traditionally been high on condo demand with local and foreign professionals working at One North, Science Park and National University Hospital (NUH).
Being near institutes of higher learning like National University of Singapore (NUS) and INSEAD is making Clementi a draw for property buyers.
In fact, Clementi is also a hub for all levels of education – with popular schools like Nan Hua Primary, NUS High School, and polytechnics like Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic within the vicinity.
The condo is expected to launch in 2020, and should ignite fresh interest after Parc Clematis was launched to great fanfare in 2019.
The 99-year leasehold land parcel at Clementi Avenue 1 was won UOL and UIC with a joint winning bid of S$491.3 million or S$788.31 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).
This is UOL’s second condo development in Clementi Ave 1, having completely sold out the 505-unit Clement Canopy in just over a year after launching in February 2017.
The new venture is slated to consist of a 40-storey project of 640 units.
The new condo site at Clementi is well served by the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). Residents can expect a short 15-minute ride to the city.
